New Design System to bring consistency across the company's projects. From scratch to the handoff file.
When I joined SUBSCRIBE, my first project was to start the company's Design System, which at the time struggled with quality and consistency.
Working close to the front-end team, we rebuilt the main components to be consistent, scalable and ready for every use case. Consistency, accessibility and smart variable control guided the process.
Situation
The company operated for years without its own Design System, creating inconsistency across projects and usability that varied between internal areas of the site.
Task & action
Full mapping of recurring components, gathering expected interactions and defining a token foundation (color, typography, spacing) shared with the front-end team.
Results
A mature, continuously evolving Design System, accelerating development and ensuring visual and functional consistency across all of the company's projects.
